Andrew Kuo, "Places"
Six color metallic silkscreen on paper (38" x 25")
This work is signed and numbered by the artist. Edition of 50.
"Andrew Kuo is keenly interested in language, numbers, and data all of which shapes his distinctive aesthetic. Using metallic inks and his signature geometric disappearing focal point this print is meticulously constructed and represents a direct reflection of his inner psyche. Bright colors and rigid forms are paired with text that is heartfelt, sentimental and humorous. Kuo recently completed a facade mural now on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit."
