Friendship Circle’s Soul Studio is a facilitated art studio for adults with special needs. The studio encourages creative and personal development for participating artists through community building and individualized support from dedicated volunteers and a staff of working artists.

Work at the studio is artist-driven, meaning each artwork is the artist’s own and part of their self-directed practice. The studio is designed to respond to each participant’s unique physical and cognitive conditions in the service of furthering their creative growth.

The studio was established in 2016 in West Bloomfield, MI. It is open to any individual with cognitive or physical disabilities, regardless of artistic background.
